We’ll be leaving for kangoo-land tomorrow night and won’t be back ’til the 6th of October. I still think it’s a rather short trip - 10 days to be exact - but we’ve all got work waiting and cannot take leaves as and when we pleaselah. Unlike some people. *wink* Heh.

Sooo… Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all my Muslim friends and readers and Happy Holidays to the rest of you. Makan lemang and ketupat tu sampai bonchit, ok? And have a bite for me too, yeah?

Cheers!

p/s: Pictures below were taken by Aaron when we were in Bangkok last year. I was just going through the photos and wish that I’d have half his talent. (Quarter pun jadilaaaaa… :P) Ish!

How to have #2…

September 18th, 2008

  • when he wouldn’t even let me carry my nephew in peace
  • when he attacks the poor boy whenever we carry him
  • when in the midst of sayang-sayang the cousin, he’d always get too geram to not pinch/hug the boy too hard

So how? But he’s been asking for an adik actually. And a girl one too at that. Hrmmm… it’d be nice to have a pair and not worry about having #3 or #4 or whatever. But the Mister wants more than 2 anaks! Hrmph! Let him waddle like a penguin pulak the next time around. Pfffttttt….!

Playground Junkie!

September 9th, 2008

Yep! Irfan’s a playground junkie alright. He must have his “fix” once a weekend. Heh. I took him to the usual spot on Saturday but the moment we arrived there, it started to drizzle. The sky looked a tad clearer in Cyberjaya so I thought that we’d make it before the garfields and odies arrive, but luck was not on our sidelah. It was already raining. :( We headed back towards Putrajaya and the rain stopped. BUT not at the playground it hasn’t! Poor Irfan. He was all excited about going to the playground but he couldn’t get out and play. So what did we do? I parked by the lake and fed him his breakfast in the car instead. Haha. Picnic of sorts. :P

However, he managed to have his fun on Sunday, so yeay! And afterwards, we went to the Ramadhan Bazaar @ Precinct 2 and my goodness - I’ve never seen so many cars and humans in Putrajaya before! And the stalls are so banyak too.. rambang mata!

Before I forget - thanks to Ira for organizing the buka puasa with the rest of the mommies. We should do this often. But having to handle 4 tots at one go is just crazy ah! Tsk tsk tsk… Nevertheless, it was fun! Thanks Ira & family, Hetty & family and Yan & family for the great company. :)

Happy 29 months!

September 3rd, 2008

Dude!

29 months already?? *counting fingers* That was fast?! Can you like please slow down for a bit? Your Mama isn’t made of steel, y’know? :P And while we’re on that chapter, can you please stop running, throwing, jumping, screaming, biting and pinching? My old and brittle bones can’t take it anymore and if you don’t stop soon, you’re in for a very big trouble, Mister!

And oh, can you please stop winking too each time you’re up to something? Because that really gives it away, y’know? Like D’OH?! If you want to do something - do it right! I already know you’re up to your usual mischief when you wink beforehand, so please don’t act surprise that I caught you red-handedlah. And where did you learn this winking business from?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your Ayor Schtar trip last weekend - although we didn’t do anything much except to bring you swimming under the hot blazing sun and got you all cooked and roasted. But above all, I hope you enjoyed our company as much as we have enjoyed yours and I’m counting down the days to our vacation month-end so that we can really have a great time together! I know you’re going to drive us mad.. but what the heck? :)

Take care, kiddo!
